For the past several months we have not shared with you a eNewsletter as we have been waiting upon the Lord and His direction. As each day goes by we are sensing a clearer direction for our ministry and service. It is as if the Lord has been putting a puzzle together this past year, and this recent Saturday, it seemed that the last piece of the puzzle was added. We are looking with great anticipation into the future as to what He has ready for us.

This past Saturday TECH’s annual board meeting was concluded. Many items were discussed by the board.

In 2005 we served more than 290 missionaries and organizations with more than 770 projects in 65 countries and 45 states in the U.S!

Praise the Lord for how He is directing TECH’s leadership through the process of looking into the future … amongst the topics the board discussed were:

  • Future leadership for TECH in the position of the president of the mission.
  • Future leadership for TECH relative to new members for the board.
  • And, looking into the future as to how the ministry of TECH is to be shaped, directed and grown.

New Web Site Project: Jim has begun work on a new ministry web site project, http://www.blackstoneinstitute.org/, Blackstone Institute. The project involves taking the existing web site and standardizing the web pages as the first step. The second step will involve adding an online store so that visitors can purchase curriculum currently being written for home schoolers.

Personal Financial Update: Year-to-date (January through February) we are roughly $2400 under our support amount. Our most recent support check, received today, is $1000 under the needed amount ($500 versus our regular amount of $1500). Pray with us as to God’s provision for our financial needs, especially as we are in process of considering a change of ministry which will bring along other expenses beyond our norm. Please consider how the Lord might have you partner with us in ministry financially.

Thank you for all that you do — for your prayers, for your financial partnership, and for your personal ministry to us! We are most grateful for you!

Love — Jim and Phyllis
