Join Us In Cincinnati

When we’re in the Cincinnati area, we often find it difficult to see those who are partnering with our mission work. We always run out of time during our visits ‘home’. So we’ve put together an idea during our next visit in June that might just make it possible for us to see more of you!

On Saturday, June 30th we’ll be reporting on our mission work at Faith Bible Church. We’ll have a meeting room along with some literature and perhaps even a PowerPoint presentation or Video. And, we are planning a special hands-on time of assembling a wall, just like we do during a weekend Help Build Hope Event.

Our schedule for the afternoon is as follows:

  • Time: 1:00 pm till 2:00 pm
  • Location: Faith Bible Church (for directions phone 513.489.1114 or visit the church web site at www.fbccincy.org)
  • Dress: Very casual – blue jeans, t-shirts, etc.
  • Schedule
    • 1:00 pm – Greeting
    • 1:05 pm – Presentation Details
      • Video of HBH
      • Give directions for building a single wall – Help Build Hope mini-event
  • 1:20 pm – Go outside to build wall
  • 1:50 pm – Place wall in foyer of church
  • 2:00 pm – Closing thoughts and prayer in the foyer

Please accept our personal invitation to attend so that we may greet you, give you an update on our ministry with CrossRoads Missions and give you a small snap-shot of what we do during a Help Build Hope Event. We’ll be asking for 10 volunteers to construct the wall. All equipment, lumber and hammers will all ready be on site.

On Sunday, we’re planning on worshiping at Faith Bible and also being available with our ‘wall’ display to answer any questions about our ministry. We hope to see you on Saturday, or Sunday, or both!

Storms in Piedras Negras, Mexico

On April 24th a “freak” storm hit the Piedras Negras area. The storm resulted in a rare tornado (read more at here). Crossroads Missions continues to evaluate how to best serve those in need after the devastating tornado that struck Villa de Fuente in Piedras Negras, Mexico. We met with local government officials, church leaders and others throughout the month of May. Our meetings aided us in preparing for those who are coming to Piedras Negras on mission trips in June. Lebanon, OH New Church Startup

In the month of May we finally had a date in our schedule open that we could worship at Faith Bible Fellowship church in Lebanon, OH. FBF is a sister church of Faith Bible Church! You can check out FBF by visiting their web site at http://www.fbflebanon.com.
