CrossRoads Missions Update

The Lord has been wonderfully busy during the month of October using CrossRoads Missions, in partnership with local churches and other ministries, to accomplish some amazing things. Amongst them are these:

  • A donation of nearly 200 mattresses, with a retail of value of about $160,000, was processed through our mission and distributed to other ministry partners.
  • A church, coming to the end of their missions budget year, donated $11,000 in funds to our Appalachia Field for 2010 projects.  They donated an additional $2,000 towards the support of of one of our staff members.
  • In partnership with a church, CrossRoads Missions utilized the resources of Feed the Children to help feed nearly 400 families.

It’s always a pleasure to see God move in such magnificent ways knowing that not only does He “show up big” from time-to-time but that He is always there taking care of the smallest details, accomplishing through each of us His purposes, His plans!

Great news, too!  Our debt continues to get smaller.  In the last year we have reduced the missions debt load by more than $120,000!  Praise God.

Conference

Next week we are attending the Global Health Missions Conference here in Louisville. This is a conference we’d had the desire to attend for quite a long time.  We are very much looking forward to participating in the conference and making potential contacts for future ministry activity with CrossRoads Missions.  Read more at www.medicalmissions.com.
