Phase 2
Praise God, Phase 2 has been completed. Phase 2 was the renovation of the second floor of 113 N. Wayne Ave. We now have a completely renovated Home for the Metanoia Center, with the completion of Phase 1 last year and now Phase 2. Due to the generous donations that we received, both Phases were completed debt free! We are so grateful to all of our donors and volunteers who made this possible who built a home for the Metanoia Center. Thank you.
As you may know, we are turning our focus to Phases 3 and 4. We currently finalizing our architectural drawings for 115 and have actively begun the fund raising efforts. We are praying that both Phase 3 and 4 can be completed at the same time. We are also praying the full amount of funding comes in for Phases 3 and 4, so they can be completed debt free. We would love to see construction started in 2024!
Open House
We have set January 27, as an Open House date from 11 AM to 2 PM. The Metanoia Center will be open so you can come and walk through the bottom floor Phase 1 and also the Phase 2 second floor apartments.
Volunteer Opportunities
We currently have some volunteer opportunities at the Center. We need the floors mopped and the ceiling fans cleaned, in the upstairs apartments in preparation for the new tenants, before February 1.
Our programs continue to grow and we are constantly seeking new volunteers for Tuesday Tutoring, MC Club, and ELC. Details for each of these programs are available on our website, or contact us and we will get you connected with the ministry leader of the program with which you are interested. If you are available to help, please contact Phyllis at 502-235-7005.
