Mobile Prayer Walk … Come Join Us!

Pray Metanoia

Pray Metanoia is a special group of individuals with a call to pray frequently, fervently, specifically and sacrificially for the ministry of the Metanoia Center, for the Village of Lockland and surrounding communities.  As the Metanoia Center reaches deeper into the heart and soul of Lockland, it is becoming more evident of how desperately we need a constant prayer covering to effectively carry out God’s work in this community. We must seek God’s heart and ask for His favor and blessing to be present in all we do, asking and expecting him to break the chains of the enemy.

We have researched different methods we could use to accommodate and communicate prayer requests. We have identified an email service which we believe will be most effective. Due to the nature of the software this group will utilize, it is limited to only 200 participants.

Emails will be sent out by the group administrator as needs arise with specific prayer requests, and/or updates on prayer needs. The emails are one-way emails.  Otherwise, if you reply to an email from the group administrator your email will go to a dead email box.  It will not be received, read or responded to by anyone. Please drop an email to us if would like to be part of this focused prayer group.

Update on Kroger Community Rewards

We just received our second check to the Metanoia Center from Kroger in the amount of $95!   This check is almost 3 times the size of our first previous one!  Thank you for spreading the news and utilizing this non-cost benefit when shopping at Kroger.

Signup for the Kroger Community Rewards Program and designate the Metanoia Center as your Rewards Card community organization where a portion of your eligible Kroger purchases will be donated to the Metanoia Center.   There is no cost to you for this program!  Read more about it here!

Progress

“Progress” has been our favorite word in the last month.  Donations continue to come in to help Make a Home for the Metanoia Center.   And those donations are being used to tackle our building plan, and any surprises that come along in the process.   For example, we recently found out that we need to upgrade our water service from 1/2″ to 3/4″ in order to ensure sufficient pressure throughout the entire building and both floors.   The cost for this, $3200, was not part of the proejct estimate.   Praise God though, as soon as we learned of this we also learned about a donation on its way to us from a church.   Below are some photos of the progress being made by our plumber.  Clicking a photo opens a new window to a larger version.

We’ve also been told by our General Contractor that the electrician is about to begin his work plan, too!   We continue to be excited and encouraged as 113 N. Wayne is transformed! As always, if you would like to walk through both buildings, to see the progress, or for the first time – please let us know!

Prayer List

  • Pray for the government of the Village as they work to lead the community forward.
  • Pray for the heart of the Village of Lockland.  We have a great sense that the Enemy is working hard to take down the community, and it’s leadership, both the Village and the schools.
  • Continue to pray for funds to come in as we work to complete Phase I and Phase II for building 113.  We are making great progress and so grateful to our donors and volunteers and the efforts they are providing to bring them to reality!
  • Pray for our Thursday MC Club, the new Wyoming Arts Center initiative and the planning underway for tutoring for Lockland School Students.  Pray for the leaders, volunteers and students for a growing, life changing impact that these programs will have in their lives, and on our community.
  • Thank you for praying for our health.  Phyllis is now over her second round of COVID and back to strength!
